HTC M8: Worthy Of Being HTC One’s Successor?

Well, HTC is working on a brand new flagship smartphone. As the HTC One was codenamed M7, this one is fittingly codenamed M8.

It is expected to launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 (or perhaps like the HTC M7 a little short of that). The serial leaker @evleaks has already posted all the details regarding the upcoming smartphone. It predicts that the HTC M8 will pack in a 5-inch display with 1080 display (pretty standard affair). It will run on Android 4.4 Kitkat along with a brand new Sense 6.0 lacing. There will be 2.1 UltraPixel camera on the rear.

HTC One's successor will come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM-8974 processor along with 2GB of RAM.

HTC had managed to get a lot of attention to the HTC One because this smartphone had a great design, sturdy built and the new sense. It offers good software tweaks for the end users. However, the company grappled with production issues and this smartphone was unable to get its due.

What we expect from the new flagship is to the bar further up. However, from what we are seeing right now is that the HTC M8 looks very similar to the HTC One in terms of looks. There grapevine suggests a gold color version but we are not sure if that alone would do the trick. Even in terms of specs we are not seeing any major bump so we are not really excited about the HTC M8 but do let us know if you feel the same ways or not? We will be looking forward to reading your comments.
